How to use this calculator
Drag the slider to your expected monthly automation volume. The calculator picks the smallest Make.com plan that covers your needs, plus the equivalent Zapier plan for comparison. Annual pricing assumes monthly billing; both platforms offer discounts on annual commitments (typically 16-25%).
How to estimate your operations volume
If you're new to Make, three quick ways to estimate:
- Multiply: (modules per scenario) × (executions per day) × 30 × (number of scenarios)
- Test: Build a sample scenario, run it once, check operations consumed
- Common ranges: Solo founder = 500-3,000 ops. SMB = 3,000-15,000 ops. Agency = 10,000-50,000 ops. Heavy AI workflows = 25,000-100,000 ops.
Why operations vs tasks?
Make and Zapier use different pricing units. A Make "operation" is one module run. A Zapier "task" is one action step (triggers don't count). For an equivalent workflow, you'll typically use about 3 Make operations per Zapier task — this calculator already adjusts for that conversion.
