Purpose
Templates4Make publishes news, analysis, and tutorials about Make.com and the broader B2B automation market. This policy explains how we produce that content and what readers can expect from us.
Editorial independence
We are an independent publication. We are not owned by, controlled by, or financially supported by Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or any other automation platform vendor.
Our author Julien Bréal is a Make.com Certified Solution Partner through Make's official training and certification program. This certification is earned through testing and does not constitute a financial sponsorship relationship with Make.com.
We accept no payment, gifts, or material support from vendors covered in our content. Our revenue comes from our consulting services and qualified lead matching.
How we produce content
Sourcing
We rely primarily on:
- Official vendor announcements (Make.com blog, product release notes, public roadmaps)
- Public documentation and APIs
- Direct testing of new features in our own Make.com workspace
- Public statements from company executives and product teams
- Industry reports from analysts and research firms (cited)
- Real-world client implementations (anonymized unless explicit permission granted)
Fact-checking
Every factual claim in our articles is checked against at least one primary source before publication. When we report something we haven't independently verified, we identify it as such ("according to...", "Make.com states that...", etc.).
Hands-on testing
Tutorials describing how to use Make.com features are written after testing those features in our own production workspace. We don't write tutorials based on documentation alone — we run the scenarios, hit the errors, and document the actual experience.
Disclosures
We disclose:
- Commercial relationships: Our consulting business serves SMBs and SaaS companies using Make.com. Some articles may mention our services where relevant — these mentions are clearly distinguished from editorial content.
- Event access: If we attend a vendor event as a guest (free ticket, travel), we disclose it in articles covering that event.
- Beta access: If we receive early access to features for testing, we disclose this in articles about those features.
- Partner relationships: Our Make.com Certified Solution Partner status is disclosed in author bios and the About page.
Sponsored content
We do not currently publish sponsored content. If this changes in the future, all sponsored articles will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" at the top and identified as such in their URL structure.
Affiliate links, if used, will be disclosed in the article.
Distinction between news and opinion
We publish both factual reporting and opinion/analysis. Opinion pieces are clearly labeled as such either in the article category ("Analysis", "Opinion") or in the article itself. News reporting aims for factual neutrality; opinion pieces present our perspective.
Corrections
When we make factual errors, we correct them transparently. See our corrections policy for details.
